Not my best choice
I bought this along with the matching washer. It is pretty much bare bones as far as load choices...which I wanted, however, it takes forever to dry and on some loads I have had to put it back on 2 - 3 times. Towels especially are hit or miss whether they will be dry on first go. This may be partially due to the fact that the washer doesn't seem to spun the towels out as my last washer. I feel like I'm using MORE electricity now than my old dryer that was also not drying efficiently. It may be a learning curve, but I've been doing laundry for 40 years so I'm pretty used to how this should work. Not totally satisfied with this dryer.

Horrible design for the lint trap
The location & function of the lint catcher is horrible. The lint continually falls off when attempting to clean the filter and falls back into the machine which is a very narrow space (cannot fit your hand in it). We then have to get out the vacuum to try & suck the lint out. The amount of lint that doesn't get caught in the filter is then going through to the exhaust vent which results in poor drying results. The dryer has been in use for only 1 year and we're having to clean out the exhaust vent multiple times. We've owned Whirlpool dryers in the past and have been very happy with them. I'm sorry to say I am beyond disappointed with this one.

Take 1.5 hours to 3 hours to dry
I bought this dryer from Lowe’s and got it delivered and installed around 6/12/22. It takes forever to dry a normal load of clothes. I chose Regular and Normal and set the temperature and dryness at the maximum level. Clothes were still damp after 1.5 hours and I have to dry another cycle (1 additional hour) to get clothes dried. Is there something wrong with a dryer? Should I contact Lowe’s or Whirlpool technician to check out my new dryer. I missed my old GE dryer which could dry clothes in 30 minutes. I am so disappointed with this new Whirlpool dryer model. Please respond and help resolving the issue.

If I could give a 0 out of 5, that would be my rating. Save yourself the stress. Do NOT buy this dryer. I personally will not buy another Whirlpool product EVER. I had this dryer for less than two weeks and the entire digital panel went out. I called Whirlpool and they scheduled service to come out 11 days later. The service technician could not repair it. He had to order a part and I haven't heard back. I called to return the product and Whirlpool says the product must be new and unused. If it was unused, I wouldn't know that it's not working. All of this has happened in less than a month.

Cheap Quality
I purchased this washer dryer front load combo after having an LG front load for 20 years. I find the whirlpool to seem to be very cheap and plasticky. It’s also a nuisance to have to hold the power button while the machine does a countdown from three to one in order to start; normally when you press the start button, the machine just starts you don’t have to sit there and hold it with your finger for it to do it countdown. The dryer also has a tendency to turn off before the clothes are dry so you have to restart it over and over and over again.
I would not suggest the products to anyone else, nor would I purchase it again.

I like the controls on this dryer and the quietness of it. I have two serious issues with the dryer. It simply will not dry bulky items like towels or sweats on any sensor cycle. Even on the most dry setting and highest heat towels are still wet when the dryer shuts off. The only way to get bulky things dry is to run the load a second time on a timed cycle. I never had this problem with my old dryer and I wish I had it back. And in addition you can forget about the eco setting. This dryer won't dry anything unless you remember to shut off the eco setting. That setting should be an opt in and not an opt out.

DISABLED MILITARY VETERANS DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL
Wife and I were excited about our Whirlpool Washer & Dryer set, but from the start we had issues. Washer made noises while tumbler turned and was exchanged. Second Washer had an oil smell when using. The dryer took hours to dry clothes and the vent filled with water. Mind you this set is only 2 weeks old and now we're fighting with Home Depot and Whirlpool to take them back and get a full refund. I will never buy or recommend a Whirlpool appliance. Btw...bought a Whirlpool refrigerator as well and waiting for a second exchange.

Garbage product
we purchased this along with matching stackable washer in july of 2023. roughly in september it quit working and whirlpool's options for working on it fixing it was going to cost us anywhere from $350-$410 depending on which option we chose. we had our private electrician that can fix anything work on it. we bought a control board (which is not available new/only used ones) remeberthis dryere was only a year old and no newcontrol board able to be purchased for it! that did nit work and he was unable to figure out what is wrong with it. i have never in 20 years have had anything he isnt able to fix. I would recommend buying a different brand. this dryer is junk. I will most likely never buy anything whirlpool again!

Adaquate at Best
We thought the size and features would make this an awesome dryer but wouldn't buy it again if we'd have known then what we know now. One of the most frustrating things is that there's no light so you can see inside when you open the door. Probably an energy savings thing forced on us. And it never dries the first cycle, rolls blankets into a bundle, and since we haven't had it long, who knows what we'll find next. I'm a disabled veteran and changing it out again is just too difficult but I regret getting rid of the old whirlpool it replaced. I should have paid to have it repaired.

By far the worst dryer I’ve had and experienced
I rather go back to the laundromat!!! I purchased this dryer on 11/25/22 and a couple of weeks later I began noticing some weird issues. 1) you have to load the dryer, keep the door open, select the drying option, close the door and then hold the start button down in order for it to work properly. Why can’t I load the dryer, shut the door, select the drying option THEN power it? You can but the instruction manual states to do the first option which is ridiculous. 2) The first cycle, no matter which option you select, doesn’t dry the clothes completely. You have to dry the clothes multiple times no matter how big or small the load is. When I restart the dryer for another hour, it constantly stops after 5 minutes. Never fails!! I’ve had this dryer for a month and I’m extremely disappointed and annoyed. Not a good investment.
