Rated 5 out of 5 by Myrna from Easy to use I have had this range for two weeks. It has been great so far. It has a nice, clean look. The grates are heavy because they are not for the individual burners. The range came with the parts and full instructions needed to convert from natural gas to propane. I am not in love with the tall, square back of the range, but its not a deal breaker. The storage drawer is a little smaller than the one on my previous range, but I guess that is because the oven is a little larger. The storage drawer also is not as long as the range. It is about 2 inches shorter, so my broiler pan does not fit. It does hold my cookie sheets though.

I love everything about my new GAS range; however, I still prefer a gas broiler to this ELECTRIC one when it comes to broiling steaks. Although electric broilers cook more evenly, sometimes I miss that "charred" effect that only gas broilers can give you. Otherwise, the electronics are very easy to work, the top under the grates is easy to clean, and it has a bottom drawer (which was a mandatory feature I required). This stove's price was a great deal and I was able to get this one in white, which seems to be rare these days.. I haven't tried the air-fry function yet but so far, stovetop cooking and oven baking is spot-on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dale B from Nice range! Looks great! This is a nice unit. We are especially happy with the edge-to-edge grates (our old stove top only had grates for each burner). The edge-to-edge grates make it much easier to manage pans on top of the stove. And it looks great with the black grates and black top (instead of white) underneath. Other reviewers report that the burners run hot. We've found that you can pretty easily adjust the flame height with a long thin screwdriver as described in the installation manual to turn down the flame and heat on the Low setting. This worked for us.

Delivery was canceled and rescheduled twic(so finally came 2.5 weeks late),, resulting in canceled gatherings due to being unable to cook. Plastic on the front of the stove does not come off in a solid piece. Have to pick at it slowly, which has resulted in several scratches on my brand new appliance. Overall the oven itself functions great.

They sent somebody out and they said yes, but it makes noise every time the oven is on like I’ve had gas ranges before and it’s never done that the burners are they can’t even turn them down and I just don’t feel like this is what it’s supposed to be and like I said I’ve called the point of sale and there’s sending somebody out but the thing is they should’ve installed it correctly the first place and it took me three months to get this range from whirlpool because apparently y’all don’t make them

Rated 4 out of 5 by bob27 from Good stove. Have had unit a month. Product works well. I easily converted it from natural gas to propane with the included hardware and excellent instructions. Still learning it's characteristics. Large top burners heat slower than my old stove. Baked 1 dish and it took 2 hours to cook when in old stove took 1 hour. Checked oven temp and it is accurate. Tried air frying with fish. Got done but never browned and had a funny smell. Won't try again. Really like the piezoelectric igniters. Like that if the power goes out burners can be lit with a match. As a basic stove I am pleased. Just need to get used to it.

I have read reviews that state the the oven does not heat to the proper temperature. We have not experienced this. I placed an oven thermometer in the baking rack and it was off maybe a couple of degrees at the most. We have never used an air fryer before so I am not privy to whether or not it is accurate. I know when I set the temp. and it says perhaps it will take 7 minutes it will take a few minutes longer. I do agree with others when they said that the stove top is a pain to clean. Our previous stove had a black top as well. I don't know what the difference is but this one is more difficult to get the streaks to disappear. Overall we are satisfied.

I have used the convection oven and it does a wonderful job on cooking food without grease. The fan is so quiet that at first I didn't think it was on. I really like the layout of the stove top and knobs. I can't say anything negative about the entire unit.

So all I know is to press the button for them and then what? Is it instantly ready to go? I have not had these features before and some instructions would have been appreciated. As far as using it as a stove, I'm good with that and it's great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ron* from Whirlpool gas range model WFGS5030RS I've only had this Whirlpool gas range with air frier and convection oven for 1 month so I can't speak to the longevity of it. To date however, I do like the range. Something I have found that needs adjusting to is the cooking time of the top burners. They heat much faster than my old Magic Chef gas range. One negative point that I didn't notice. This model does not come with the center griddle or a center splash cover. As such, it is a bit messy whenever I cook anything greasy. I have to remove the rather large burner grates in order to clean under them each time rather than just wiping down the stove top. I intend purchasing a splash cover and griddle to cut down on dismantling the stove each I make a hamburger.
