I figured it was permanent and would never be clean. I didn't even want to use it to wash my dishes. We'll, the property management here recommended using affresh for our washing machine, and when I went to buy that, noticed they also have tablets for your dishwasher. Bought it without even reading reviews because I figured it couldn't make it worse. I am SO HAPPY that I did. Just used two tablets, one in the detergent dispenser, and one in bottom of dishwasher and ran on the normal cycle. Opened it up when done fully expecting it not to have worked, but it more than surpassed my expectations. Thank you for this wonderful product!

Much to our shock and surprise, when we opened the dishwasher door, every inch of the inside of our dishwasher including the dishes was covered in a thick white film and all of the dishes had to be hand-washed as well as the inside of the dishwasher to get rid of this product because it made such a mess. If anything, it enhanced our hard water problem and created more! Also, the dishwasher still stinks inside too even though the trap has been cleaned.
